We are exceedingly proud
of the quality of the raw meats we supply, and believe them
to be the highest quality animal feeds on the market. All
our meats come from local EEC regulated plants and are graded/passed
‘fit for human consumption’. The time scale
from slaughter to packing is 24 hours or less, thus ensuring
our pet meats are every bit, if not fresher than the meat
you buy from your own butcher or supermarket.
All our meat products come from EEC Regulated plants in England and all our meats are British reared. All our meats are tested for salmonela in accordance with the regulations set down by Defra. We are assured by our suppliers that, where appropriate, meats are inspected for heart and lung worm in accordance with the guidelines set down for abbatoirs. Our meats are picked up each day, chilled down overnight and then processed the following morning thus retaining its freshness and goodness. No animal derivatives, water, preservatives nor additives are used in any of our meat products.
All our meats come in 454gm (1lb) packs and boxed in 36lb
tray boxes.
Our tripe products can vary in colour accordingly to the
time of year but this does not affect the quality of the
product. The tripe and chicken mix consists of beef
tripe with chicken carcass and the meat and tripe mince
consists of beef tripe with trim of beef and hearts.
Our minced chicken range come from whole fresh birds (excluding
feet, heads, inners and some breast meat) and is minced
either fine or coarse (including the bone). Our hearts
and liver are either lambs or Ox and come chunked and bagged
in 908gm (2lb) bags and then boxed. The turkey
consists of whole birds (again excluding head, feet, inners
and some breast meat) and comes either minced or chunked.
Our Economy Mince consists of Ox lungs (lights), the beef
mix consists of trim of beef and hearts, the best beef consists
of trim of beef and the beef chunks are pieces rump beef
(ideal for large dogs).
The lamb mince consists of pieces of lamb meat minced with
lamb rib bone and carcasses.
